Victor Advances in Section 5 Quarterfinals

May 17, 2025 - Victor secured a win against Spencerport with a final score of 20-4 in the Section 5 Quarterfinals. Nine different players contributed to Victor's scoring, with Will Johnson leading the way with four goals and four assists. Other top performers included Kyle Saeger (three goals, one assist), Brody Secker (three goals, two assists), and Colin Wheeler (two goals, two assists). Spencerport’s offense was led by Gavin Brown with two goals and Jamison Brown with one goal and two assists.

Victor set the tone early, scoring six goals in the first quarter and continuing their offensive pressure through the second and third quarters. They managed a run of six goals and another run of twelve goals during the game. In goal, Victor's senior Landon Tantillo made two saves and allowed one goal for a 67% save percentage over twelve minutes, while junior Will Simpson recorded three saves and allowed three goals for a 50% save percentage in thirty-six minutes of play.

Freshman faceoff specialist Eli Ricci reached his 300th career faceoff win, finishing the game with twelve wins, bringing his total to 311. Senior JT Ricci also excelled in faceoffs, winning nine of eleven attempts for an 82% success rate.
