Round 1: Spencerport Moves Forward

- Spencerport earned a six-two victory over Schroeder in a the closest Round 1 game on Saturday morning. The Rangers took an early lead in the first quarter with goals from Zach Tortora and Jamison Brown. They continued their scoring effort through the next three quarters, with Zachary Ajavananda and Gavin Brown each netting two goals. Mason Endres, Brody Kaye, and Tyler Wentworth contributed assists, while goaltender Zach Miceli anchored the defense with nine saves and a save percentage of eighty-two.

Schroeder fought back in the fourth quarter, scoring two goals. Garrett Conger and Cody Preston each found the net, assisted by JD Stockmann. In goal, Van Bolton recorded twelve saves with a save percentage of sixty-seven. Spencerport controlled possession with twenty-eight total shots, nineteen of them on target, while Schroeder managed twenty-three shots with nine on goal.
