May 24, 2025 - Irondequoit controlled the pace early in their non-league game against Gates Chili, scoring eleven goals in the first quarter. Senior attackman Kieran Stenzel led the team with four goals and three assists, while Cooper Moore contributed four goals and three assists. Colin Giudice added two goals and two assists, and Doug Velepec scored twice. Freshman faceoff specialist Andrew Scully won nine faceoffs while losing just one, finishing with a 90% success rate. In goal, senior Sven Habitzreuther recorded one save without allowing a goal in his twenty-four minutes of play, while Colin Landrigan made two saves with two goals allowed.
Gates Chili found the net once in the third and fourth quarters, both goals coming from midfielder Michael Alley. Demar Williams stood in goal for the full forty-eight minutes and made ten saves. Irondequoit saw contributions from multiple players, including eight different goal scorers. Sophomore Hunter Weisbeck and eighth-grader Liam West each scored their first varsity goals.
