Miller to West Point and Zawacki to Cortland

October 28, 2011 - Midfielder Gunnar Miller will be attending the United State Military Academy at West Point after his senior year at Irondequoit. An All-Tournament team pick last spring, Miller recorded 10g-5a in his junior year and was a member of the Brine All-American Lacrosse National Classic Championship team and the Nike Upstate Rising Senior team last summer.

Cortland has picked up another recruit as Webster Thomas senior John Zawacki has decided to attend the SUNY school after his senior year. The second team All League attackman scored 34g-24a (58 pts) in his junior year and will enter his last season with the Titans with a 51g-27a (78 pts) carrier record. He also played on the Nike Upstate Rising Senior team last summer.
