HFL Holds Off Rush-Henrietta

May 20, 2025 - HFL secured a 15-13 victory over Rush-Henrietta in a non-league gametoday. The home team built an early lead with six goals in the first quarter and added four more in the second. Rush-Henrietta responded with a strong second half, netting six in the third and three more in the fourth, but fell just short of the comeback. Grady Goodberlet led HFL with five goals and five assists, supported by Marco Vengoechea with three goals and three assists, and Quinn Kailbourne with four goals and two assists. Tanner Olin and Cash Arena each added goals to round out the scoring.

HFL goalie Jason Bennett played the full game, recording 10 saves on 13 shots against. Faceoff specialist Quinn Kailbourne won his only draw, finishing with a perfect percentage.
