HFL Pulls Away Late to Defeat East Aurora

- Honeoye Falls-Lima secured a 16-9 non-league victory over East Aurora on Wednesday evening. The game remained close through three quarters, with six ties recorded throughout play. The fourth quarter proved decisive, as HFL scored eight unanswered goals to break away from East Aurora. Junior midfielder Marco Vengoechea reached his 50th career goal with two scores, while sophomore attackman Grady Goodberlet recorded six goals and six assists, surpassing the 50-assist milestone. Quinn Kailbourne contributed six goals, with additional scoring from Cash Arena and Sam Jokl.

East Aurora kept pace early, leading 4-3 after the first quarter and reaching a 7-7 tie by halftime. However, they were unable to respond to HFL's late surge. HFL goalie Jason Bennett made ten saves and finished with a 53% save rate across 45 minutes.
