Mynderse-Romulus Earns Win

May 13, 2025 - Mynderse-Romulus secured a 14-8 victory over Marcus Whitman on Tuesday evening. Griffin Hilimire led the scoring for Mynderse-Romulus with six goals and one assist, while Jack Brady contributed three goals and three assists. Additional goals came from Trace Parish, Anthony Luffman, Hunter Kurdziolek, and Owen Levis. Marcus Whitman’s leading scorers included Tariku Blueye, who recorded two goals and two assists, along with Ayden Clark, who posted two goals and one assist. Junior goalie Tyler Speers played the full 48 minutes for Marcus Whitman, making 16 saves for a 53% save percentage.

The game started with Mynderse-Romulus putting up six goals in the first quarter, while Marcus Whitman managed two. Both teams added three goals in the second quarter, but Mynderse-Romulus pulled away in the second half, scoring five more times while holding Marcus Whitman to three goals. Fischer Sleeman, Ian Cameron, and Logan Storms also found the back of the net for Marcus Whitman.
