
BK Gets Overtime Win from Rams
May 12, 2025 - Bishop Kearney edged past Haverling in a close contest, winning 10-9 in overtime. The game saw Haverling take a 3-2 lead in the first quarter, but Bishop Kearney responded with a strong second quarter, outscoring their opponent 4-1. Both teams netted three goals in the third, and Haverling managed two in the fourth to force overtime. Senior midfielder Gavin Price tallied two goals and five assists for Haverling, while Drew Spears contributed four goals. Junior McLane Stermole played the full 48 minutes in goal, saving 23 shots with a 70% save percentage.
For Bishop Kearney, Dom D'Eletto led the team with three goals and one assist, supported by James Scantleburry with two goals and three assists.
