McQuaid Jesuit Defeats CBA

May 10, 2025 - McQuaid Jesuit earned an 18-6 win over Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse) on Saturday, with eight different players contributing to the scoring effort. John Burrows led the offense with five goals and two assists, while Dominic Bianchi added four goals. AJ Quagrello provided strong support with two goals and five assists. Other goal scorers included JP Gianforti (three goals), Will DiMarco (one goal), Jackson Natapow (one goal), Domenic Giangreco (one goal and one assist), and Talin Parks (one goal). Aidan O’Brien, Gianni Sansone, and Will Engle each contributed one assist.

In goal, senior Jack Rawleigh made ten saves while allowing three goals, posting a 77% save percentage in 36 minutes of play. Junior Patrick Zwetsch added three saves and allowed two goals over eight minutes, recording a 60% save percentage. Junior Devon Herrema played four minutes and stopped both shots he faced.
