Panthers Over Saints

- Geneva defeated Churchville-Chili 17-6 in a non-league matchup at Fairbanks Elementary on Saturday. Geneva set the pace early, scoring six goals in the first quarter, while Churchville-Chili managed one. Geneva’s offense was led by senior Ryland Dunham, who recorded five goals and four assists, while junior Jack Dunham and senior Dominick Vedora each contributed three goals and two assists. Seven players from Geneva found the net in the win. Churchville-Chili saw goals from six different players, including two from junior Matthew Mitchell, while sophomore Cooper Lass assisted twice.

In goal, Geneva’s senior Brent Williams made 15 saves while allowing six goals for a 71% save percentage over 48 minutes. On the other side, Churchville-Chili’s junior goalkeeper Dominic Marra stopped 20 shots while allowing 16 goals, achieving a 56% save percentage in the full game. Geneva extended their winning streak to seven games, moving to a 10-2 record, while Churchville-Chili fell to 4-7.
