May 10, 2025 - Bloomfield-Honeoye secured a 12-5 victory over Medina in a non-league matchup on Saturday. The visiting team set the tone early, scoring five goals in the opening quarter while holding Medina scoreless through three periods. Senior midfielder Cody Whittaker reached a career milestone with his five hundred and eighth faceoff win, winning twelve and losing six for a 67% success rate. Leading the scoring effort for Bloomfield-Honeoye, Brayden Arber tallied four goals and one assist, while John Blair contributed two goals and four assists.

Additional offensive support came from Tyler Bruder with three goals, Braiden Schneider with one goal and one assist, and Whittaker with two goals. Medina fought back in the final quarter to put five goals on the board, but Bloomfield-Honeoye’s defense remained steady. In goal, senior Ethan Stoddard recorded ten saves and allowed two goals for an 83% save percentage over thirty-six minutes, while junior Brayden Butler added five saves and allowed three goals over twelve minutes for a 63% save percentage.
