Penn Yan Secures Win Over Hamburg

- Penn Yan traveled to Hamburg for a non-league game on Saturday and came away with a fifteen to six victory. The teams were tied after the first quarter, but Penn Yan pulled ahead in the second with five goals, followed by seven more in the third to secure a strong lead. Hamburg added two more goals in the fourth but could not close the gap. Penn Yan now holds a record of twelve wins and one loss.

Penn Yan’s offensive effort was led by Braden Fingar, Tukker Fisher, and Mike Gigliotti, each contributing four goals and two assists. Teagan Fingar added two goals and two assists, while Miles Ditzell had one goal, and Levi Fisher recorded one assist. Senior goaltender Will Thompson played forty-four minutes and made thirteen saves while allowing four goals, finishing with a seventy-six percent save percentage.
