Spencerport Over Saints

May 6, 2025 - Spencerport controlled the tempo early, scoring five times in the first quarter and building a 12-1 lead by halftime in their 18-4 win over Churchville-Chili at Fairbanks Elementary. Leading the scoring for Spencerport were Gavin Brown with five goals, Zach Tortora with five goals and one assist, and Zachary Ajavananda with three goals and one assist. Freshman Tyler Wentworth notched his first varsity goal. Churchville-Chili saw offensive contributions from Brayden Hoak, who recorded three goals, and William Morgan, who scored once.

Defensively, Spencerport’s goaltending included Sam Morgan with five saves on seven shots (71%) and Jamison Brown stopping one of two attempts (50%) in their shared effort. On the faceoff, Chase D’Amico secured 16 wins against one loss. Churchville-Chili struggled to counter the offensive depth of Spencerport, despite efforts from goalies Kaiden Leiston (two saves) and Dominic Marra (eight saves).     [ Story and BOX SCORE]
