
Geneva Gets Win From Gananda
May 6, 2025 - Geneva took control early and maintained their lead throughout the game, securing an 18-8 win against Gananda at R Mann Elementary on Tuesday night. Junior attackman Ryland Dunham led Geneva with eight goals, marking his 100th career goal, while midfielder Max Heieck added five goals and two assists. Jack Dunham contributed two goals and seven assists, with additional scoring from Dominick Vedora, Max Delgado, and Nick Trickler. Sophomore goalie Owen Marquart made four saves on five shots for Geneva, finishing with an 80% save rate.
Gananda kept pace in the first half, but Geneva’s consistency in the later quarters proved decisive. Attackman Jase Smith contributed three goals and two assists for Gananda, while Mason Groh also scored three times. Midfielder Brody Daciw recorded two goals and two assists. Junior goalie Nick Falso reached his 400th career save with 25 total stops, holding a 58% save rate. Sophomore Alex Pesante controlled the faceoff for Geneva, winning 22 of 28 attempts.
