Bishop Kearney Gets Win Against Haverling

- Bishop Kearney earned a hard-fought victory over Haverling with a final score of 14-11 on Monday evening. After a slow first quarter, Bishop Kearney picked up momentum, scoring five goals in both the third and fourth quarters. Haverling at BKLeading the offensive effort was James Scantleburry with five goals, followed by Jeremy Lowe with three. Dom D’Eletto and JD Frick each netted two, while Trever Jensen and Dom Slevin added one apiece. Freshman goalie Ethan Cole made 14 saves, finishing with a 56% save percentage.

Haverling kept the game competitive, opening the first quarter with a 2-1 lead and staying close through the second. Drew Spears led Haverling’s scoring effort with three goals and one assist, while Zach Colegrove and Gavin Price each recorded one goal and two assists. Caden Fairbrother and Warren McCormick contributed two goals apiece, with Noah Schneider and Lawrence Duncan each adding one. Junior goalie McLane Stermole reached his 600th career save milestone, stopping 20 shots with a 59% save percentage.
