Mandarano Lifts Spencerport in Overtime

May 2, 2025 - Spencerport edged Fairport 7-6 in a non-league matchup on Friday night, with senior attackman Jayden Mandarano netting the game-winning goal in overtime. Fairport took an early lead, outscoring Spencerport 3-1 in the first quarter, followed by a balanced second quarter with two goals from each side. Fairport extended its lead in the third, but Spencerport rallied in the fourth, scoring three unanswered goals to force overtime. Mandarano sealed the victory with 58 seconds left in the extra period.
