Canandaigua Extends Winning Streak

- Canandaigua continued their undefeated season with a decisive 19-3 victory over Gates Chili in their league matchup. Eleven different players contributed to the scoring effort, with Ryan Bremer leading the way with four goals and two assists. Damon Swanson added three goals, while Drew Williamee and Maddox Smith each netted two. Other goal scorers included Mike Belles (1g-3a), Ryan McKeegan, AJ Sterman, Patrick Olvany, Jack Stanney, Gavin Ducar (1g-1a), and Lucas Buck. Goaltender Evan Scibelli recorded three saves while allowing one goal in 24 minutes, achieving a 75% save rate.

Gates Chili struggled to find offensive momentum, scoring only once in each of the last three quarters. Callaway Phommachanh, Joshua Yakowitz, and Michael Alley each contributed a goal, with Chandler Vogel recording one assist. In goal, Demar Williams faced heavy pressure, making 18 saves while allowing 19 goals over the full 48 minutes. On faceoffs, Canandaigua found success with Mason DePew winning eight of nine, while Peyton Fritz and Will Rheude both won two-thirds of their attempts. Gates Chili’s Michael Alley was credited with nine of sixteen faceoffs.
