Brighton Takes Schroeder

- Brighton secured their sixth win of the season with an eleven-three victory over Schroeder in Wednesday night’s MC-D2 league game. Brighton’s offense was powered by Miles McGuire, who recorded four goals, and Tim Tourangeau, who contributed two goals and two assists. Additional scoring came from Gavin Parks (two goals), Zack Rossignol, Trevor Serve, and Kiki Condon, each netting one goal. Zack Rossignol, a sophomore, celebrated his first Varsity goal. Brighton's goalkeeper, Logan Serve, was solid in net, making six saves with a sixty-seven percent save rate.

Schroeder struggled to find momentum, managing just three goals throughout the game. Leading their scoring efforts were Jonny May, Cody Preston, and Brennan Robinson, each with one goal. JD Stockmann and Parker Brown added assists to the team’s tally. Schroeder’s sophomore goalie, Van Bolton, reached a milestone of one hundred career saves with eleven saves in the game, resulting in a fifty percent save rate.

Brighton’s faceoff advantage contributed to their control of the game, with senior Henry Werzinger winning six of ten attempts, while Schroeder's John Caricati showed strength with eleven wins out of seventeen faceoffs.
