Midlakes Wins

April 26, 2025 - In a non-league matchup on Saturday evening, Midlakes cruised to a decisive 20-1 victory over Batavia-Notre Dame. Nine different players contributed goals for Midlakes, showcasing team depth and versatility. Leading the offensive charge were Walker Landschoot with 4 goals and 2 assists, Nate Lathrop with 2 goals and 5 assists, and Carter Casper with 3 goals and 2 assists. Senior Rowen Cartwright and sophomore Kenneth Baker each scored their first Varsity goals, adding to the team's impressive scoring tally. Junior goalie Stuart Quku made 6 saves while allowing 1 goal, finishing with an 86% save rate over 48 minutes.

Batavia-Notre Dame had limited scoring opportunities in the game but managed one goal from Gavynn Trippany, assisted by Trey Rodriguez. Batavia-Notre Dame struggled offensively against Midlakes' strong defensive presence.
