Rising Seniors to Compete in Syracuse

Fairport coach, Eric Carlsen has announced the players selected to play in this weekend's Nike Rising Senior games. The games began as a replacement for the former Empire State Games which were canceled as part of a financial cutback by NYS. This year's contests will took place at Henninger High School on July 14th.
The closely contested tournament saw Sections 3, 4 and 5 finishing at 2-1 and Section 6 finishing at 0-3. Section 5 lost to Section 3 (7-4) who lost to Section 4 (10-7) who lost to Section 5 (9-8).
The Nike Tournament for rising sophomores saw Section Five finishing 0-2-1 and the rising freshmen finished 1-2.
