Batavia-Notre Dame Secures Win

April 21, 2025 - Batavia-Notre Dame earned an eight to four victory over Newfane (Section VI) in their non-league matchup. Gavynn Trippany led the scoring effort with three goals, while Harold Mellander contributed two. Aiden Robins recorded one goal and two assists, and Jon Smith and Nolan Radley each added one goal and one assist. Trey Rodriguez also assisted on a goal. In net, James Rachow played thirty-six minutes, making nine saves on twelve shots, while Branden Flanagan played twelve minutes, stopping three of four shots.

Newfane fought hard throughout the game, finding the net once in each quarter, though their individual stats were unavailable. Batavia-Notre Dame built an early lead, scoring three times in each of the first two quarters. Trippany scored twice in the second half to extend the margin, while Newfane added two goals of their own.
