Penn Yan Secures Fourth Win

- Penn Yan maintained its perfect record with a strong performance against Cortland in a non-league matchup. The visiting team set the tone early with five goals in the first quarter and carried that momentum through the game. Nine different players found the back of the net for Penn Yan, with Teagan Fingar leading the charge with four goals and two assists, followed by Tukker Fisher, who contributed three goals and four assists. Braden Fingar and Miles Ditzell each had three goals, while Mike Gigliotti added two goals and an assist. Freshmen Cole Murphy and Colt Walters each recorded their first varsity goals in the contest.

Cortland, now 2-2 on the season, managed to put up three goals, with Bodey McGrath tallying one goal and an assist, while Asher Armstrong and Nathan Harrington each scored once. In goal, Penn Yan utilized three different keepers—Jaxon Jensen, Wilson Oliva, and Will Thompson—each recording a save with a 50% save rate. On faceoffs, freshman Greyson Hathway excelled for Penn Yan, winning 15 of his 17 attempts, while sophomore Ti'Jai Moorer secured six of his eight attempts.
