Hilton Defeats Horseheads

April 12, 2025 - Hilton defeated Horseheads 12-3 in a non-league game on April 12, 2025, at Horseheads. Cahlan Smith led Hilton with three goals and two assists, while Gianluca Auriuso and Kyle Taddeo each contributed two goals. Jack Palmer also scored twice, with Tyler Reger and Braydon Pike adding one goal apiece. Drew Brien and Nicholas Presutti contributed two assists each. Hilton's goalkeeping featured senior Sam Guzzetta, who made two saves without allowing any goals in six minutes, and freshman Brendan Maxwell, who recorded six saves with three goals allowed across forty-two minutes for a sixty-seven percent save rate. Senior midfielder Drew O'Buck achieved a milestone during the game, winning twelve faceoffs to reach 402 career wins with a sixty-three percent success rate.

Horseheads' Braden Woodworth had an active game, contributing two goals and two assists, while Adam Nielsen and Brogan Sullivan added one goal each, with Sullivan also recording an assist. Goalie Seamus Carroll was tested heavily and made twenty-three saves while conceding twelve goals. Despite strong individual efforts, Horseheads could not match Hilton's offensive depth or overcome their six-goal run during the second and third quarters.
