August 24, 2012 - Andrew Schoeneck recently announced his decision to attend Bellarmine University after his senior year at Penfield. Schoeneck had a strong 2012 season where the left-handed attackman scored 46g-17a and was selected to the first team Monroe County D1 list. He was also named to the Class A All Sectional team. Off season he has been a member of the Rochester Brine All American team that played in July and won the Brine National Classic. He played his club lacrosse with the Rochester Blaze.
Bellarmine is a Catholic, Liberal Arts school located in Louisville, Kentucky and plays in ECAC with Loyola, Denver, Hobart, Fairfield, Michigan, Ohio State and Air Force. Schoeneck says he looks forward to playing for Coach Kevin Burns, a West Genesee and Loyola College alumnus.
