Penn Yan triumphed over Homer 11-10 in a thrilling triple-overtime match, with Teagan Fingar netting six goals and a crucial assist. Mynderse-Romulus secured a decisive 14-5 win against Waterloo, powered by Griffin Hilimire`s six goals and four assists. Lastly, Midlakes claimed their season opener with a 14-7 victory against Jordan Elbridge, where goalie Stuart Quku`s 12 saves contributed to their success.
MARCUS WHITMAN-16 at GANANDA-7 - Marcus Whitman secured a strong 16-7 win over Gananda in their league opener. Standout performances included Tariku Blueye with seven goals and six assists, Ayden Clark`s six goals, and solid goalkeeping from Tyler Speers (59% save rate).
