The Graduated Seniors

The team bids farewell to nine key seniors, including standout player Cody Coleman, who earned All-League 2nd Team Attack honors last year. These seniors were the backbone of the team, and their absence will be felt on the field. However, their legacy and leadership have set the stage for the next generation of Rush-Henrietta lacrosse players.

Rising Stars

The team boasts a solid group of rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores who are eager to make their mark. Among the returning players, several earned accolades last season. Andrew Coleman scored 38 goals and assisted 12 times, earning All-League Honorable Mention Attack. Preston Jackson, with 18 goals, 5 assists, and a face-off record of 162 wins and 122 losses, was recognized as All-League Honorable Mention FO Midfield. Daniel Schmitz, who made 240 saves with a 57.7% save rate, received All-League Honorable Mention Goalie honors. Ronin Walker contributed 24 goals and 17 assists and was named All-League Honorable Mention Midfield.Rush-Henrietta

Returning Firepower

With 80% of their goals and 70% of their assists from last season returning, the team is primed to continue their offensive momentum. The experience and improved skill of these players will be crucial in close games and high-pressure situations.

Defensive Challenges

The team averaged 8.7 goals per game while conceding 10.4 goals per game last season. Improving defensive play will be key to turning close losses into wins. Coach Winslow is focused on tightening up the defense and increasing overall team discipline.

Mark your calendars for matchups against strong teams such as Pittsford, Penfield and Fairport. These games will test the team's resilience and determination.

Looking Ahead

With a mix of seasoned veterans and enthusiastic newcomers, the 2025 Rush-Henrietta Boys Lacrosse team is ready to face the challenges ahead. Coach Winslow's leadership, combined with the players' dedication and hard work, sets the stage for an exciting and competitive season.
