Monday: Wayne Defeats Geneva

April 10, 2023 - DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - In the single game played on the first day back from vacation, Wayne took off in the second half and beat Geneva 10-7.

WAYNE-10 at GENEVA-7 - After ties in the first and second quarters the teams entered the half-time break at 5-5. An inspired Wayne led by junior midfielder PJ Ostrowski, came back with three goals in the third and two more in the fourth to take the win. Leading the scoring for Wayne (2-3) were Ostrowski (5g), and seniosr Nate Michel (1g-2a), and Izak Krajeski (1g-1a). Senior A/M Nate Michel reached his 50th assist with his 2 assists (50a). In the goal for Wayne was senior Dylan Coene with 9s/6ga = 60% (41 mins). 

Leading the scoring for Geneva (0-2) were senior attackman Ryan Brown (2g-1a), sophomore midfielder Max Heieck (3g), junior midfielder Jeremy Askin (3a), senior midfielder Daniel Wright (2g), and freshman attackman Ryland Dunham (1a).
