Monday - Four Games

- DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - There were four games played today. Hilton was a 15-9 winner over Livonia-Avon and Brighton beat Greece 12-7. Aquinas beat Wayne and McQuaid Jesuit fell to Canisius.

GREECE STORM 7 - BRIGHTON 12 - Brighton took the lead early in the game and never gave it up, scoring six goals after the half. Aksel Stanat scored 2g-7a and Jett Richardsen added 5g-1a for the Bruins who won the first game of the season. Greece saw 3g-1a from Steven Laframboise and Jonathan Bucciarelli made 19s (61%) for the Storm.   [BOX SCORE] 

AQUINAS 23 - WAYNE 14 - [UPDATED] 8th grade attackman Tano Aurioso (7g-4a) and freshman attackman Noah Olbrich (6g-3a) combined for 13 goals to lead Aquinas over Wayne 23-14. Senior midfielders Angelo Palumbo (3g-5a) and Myles Blackwood (3g-3a) each added 3 more goals. 22 of the 23 goals were assisted.   [BOX SCORE] 

LIVONIA-AVON 9 - HILTON 15 - The Cadets went right to work taking a 5-2 lead in the first quarter and then outscoring the Lakers 6-3 in the second half for the win. Jason Mosher had 11s (55%) in the cage and eight players made the offensive book. William Salamone led the scoring with 5g in the first meeting between the two teams. Shane Malead had 4g and Jackson McEnerney had 3g-1a for the Lakers (5-4).    [BOX SCORE]
