Saturday - Hilton in OT

- DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Hilton won their overtime game with Churchville-Chili and McQuaid won their 8-7 game with Spencerport.

AQUINAS 12 - CANISIUS 15 - Aquinas had a 7-3 lead at the half but Canisius scored eight goals in the third that was the difference. The game was tied 12-12 midway in the fourth quarter, but Canisius scored the final three goals for the win. Angelo Palumbo led the AQ scoring with 4g-1a. Pal-Mac at GanandaBATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 7 - EAST UNITED-EASTRIDGE 16 - The Eagles won their second game of the week as Kenneth Edwards scored (according to BND) 7g for the winners. Quintin Cummings had 2g-1a for the Blue Devils. There was no report from East at post time.   [BOX SCORE] 

MIDLAKES-RED JACKET 2 - MARCUS WHITMAN 19 - Nine players made the offensive books for the Wildcats. Tyler Tiffany had 4g-2a and Kyle Murphy had 4g-3a for Marcus Whitman. Reiner Gallogly won 14 of 20 faceoffs and Connor Gorton picked up 13 gbs. Blake Dunton made 5s (63%) for the Wildcats (6-3). Pal-Mac at GanandaBROCKPORT 0 - LIVONIA-AVON 21 - Jackson McEnerney had 5g-3a and Justin Skelly added 5g-2a for the Lakers (5-3) who will play Hilton on Monday.    [BOX SCORE] 

GENEVA 19 - BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE 2 - Ryan Brown had 3g-6a, Max Miller had 5g-2a and Curtis Dennison had 4g-3a to lead the Panthers. Face off specialist Jeremy Askin won 17 of 21 draws for Geneva who will play Waterloo on Tuesday.    [BOX SCORE] 

PENFIELD 16 - ORCHARD PARK 4 - Ethan Aust and Alec Constable both scored 5g-3a and Adam Schembri won 11 of 16 draws for the Patriots in the win over OP (Section VI).    [BOX SCORE] 

GANANDA 1 - PAL-MAC 18 - Will Nichols made 7s (88%),  Logan Babcock scored 7g-2a and Quinn Nolan won 17 of 18 draws for the Red Raiders (8-1).    [BOX SCORE] 

Penn Yan at NewarkWATERLOO 2 - WAYNE 17 - Noah Means led the scoring with 4g-3a and Nate Michel and PJ Ostrowski each had 3g-1 for the Eagles, now 6-2.    [BOX SCORE] 

WILLIAMSVILLE NORTH 2 - IRONDEQUOIT 14 - There was no complete reports at post time.    [BOX SCORE] 

VICTOR 9 - BALDWINSVILLE 6 - The Blue Devils had a 5-3 lead at the half and then continued to a 9-6 victory over Baldwinsville (Section III).  The game was tied three times until the Blue Devils took over in the seconds half. Pax Marshall led in scoring with 3g-1a, goalkeeper Brady Robinson had 14s (70%) and Sam Ricci won 12 of 19 draws for Victor (10-0). It was the first loss of the season for the Bees (9-1).    [BOX SCORE] 

NEWARK 1 - PENN YAN 14 - Although Newark goalie Caleb George-Cady was credited with 15s (52%) the Mustangs still scored nearly at will and their defense kept the Reds always form Griffin Emerson who made 3s (100%). Tukker Fisher and Teagan Fingar each had 3g-3a and seven others made the book for the Mustangs (5-3). Preston Steve scored for Newark and Sam Underhill won 8 of 12 draws for the Reds (5-3).    [BOX SCORE] 

Penn Yan at NewarkSPENCERPORT 7 - McQUAID JESUIT 8 -  A strong second half gave the Knights the edge as they beat Spencerport 8-7. Paul Chiariello had 3g and AJ Quagrello had 2g-1a but Chris Woodard scored the winning goal for McQuaid Jesuit (8-2) There was no report from Spencerport at post time.   [BOX SCORE] 

CANANDAIGUA 10 - CORNING 4 - Although there were three ties in the first half, the Braves scored seven unanswered goals in the fourth for the win. Elliott Morgan had 3g-2a and Sean Olvany had 3g to lead Ca in scoring and Luke McCrobie won 13 of 15 faceoffs for the winners.    [BOX SCORE] 

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 6 - HILTON 7 OT - In an exciting game this morning Hilton fought back from a 4-2 half to force a tie in regulation. In overtime Joseph Maneti (3g) scored the game winner with an assist from Cole Loewke. Cadet goalie Jason Mosher was credited with 16s (73%). Colin Duncan scored 3g for the Saints (5-4).    [BOX SCORE] 

CHRISTIAN BROTHERS ACADEMY 5 - PITTSFORD 7 - After the 1-1 tie it was all Pittsford who took the lead and never left go. James Cook and Gustav Murphy each had 2g and Luke Fliss had 3a for the Panthers (7-3) whose goalie Nolan Dehan had 10s (67%). The Panthers will play Thomas on Tuesday.   [BOX SCORE]
