Brighton Over CA and Fairport Over Victor

At Fairport, Jake Knapp won sixteen faceoffs while junior attackman Colin Peers scored 3g-2a to help the Red Raiders win a 10-9 game with Victor. The Blue Devils held an 8-4 lead at the half, but only managed one goal in the second half. With 0:08 left in the game junior attackman Colin Peers scored the game winner.

For the first time since April of 2012, Irondequoit defeated Webster Thomas. The Eagles took over in the second half and outscored Thomas 7-3 in their 11-8 win over the Titans. (Story Continues).

Pittsford scored the opening goal and although Schroeder kept it close, they never forced a tie in the Panthers 9-6 win over the Warriors. (Story Continues).

Aquinas took over the lead in the third quarter and held off for the last two quarters to defeat Haverling 7-5. The first half was back and forth before Aquinas scored the final goal of the second quarter and the first two of the third quarter to pull ahead 4-2. (Story Continues.)

First year Head Coach Greg O`Connor won his first game at Marcus Whitman today. After a 4-4 tie with Bloomfield-Honeoye, the Wildcats scored two unanswered goals in the third and outscored the Pride 6-3 in the final quarter for the 12-7 win at Canandaigua. Also winning his first game today was Head Coach Josh Laskowski at Brockport.

Also winning today were Rush-Henrietta who moves to 4-0, Wayne (1-0), Pal-Mac, Midlakes (2-0), Penfield, Brockport, Hilton (2-0) and Geneva.

At Hilton Michael Galante, Ryan McNair, Kyle Jensen and Sam Deprez each scored their first career goal.

The list of undefeated teams now stands at six: R-H (4-0), Hilton (2-0), Midlakes (2-0), Greece Storm (1-0), Marcus Whitman (1-0) and Wayne (1-0).
