Canandaigua Debuts Braves Lacrosse Network

It is hard to believe, as it seems like it was just yesterday that the Canandaigua Braves capped a Cinderella season with the winning of the New York State Championship in 2009.

The season was chronicled in weekly video segments by the New Balance company after Canandaigua won a contest and was featured in "Season In the Balance". Little did the company know, when they selected the Braves that they create a fantastic ending with Canandaigua bringing home the New York State Class B Championship.

The program focused on the community and the players as will as the games won as they lost two of their first four games and they remained undefeated for the next twenty games in 2009 and ten more at the start of 2010. Perhaps, by way of celebration, or in an effort to remind the community of that achievement, the players, coaches and community decided this season to produce their own video series under the banner of BLN (Braves Lacrosse Nation). The "pilot" has already seen over a thousand views on YouTube.com and "Week one: The Grind" has over a thousand views in the first four days.
