Wednesday: All Top Seeds Win in Quarter Finals

The quarter final rounds were held in each of the three classes today and in each case the higher seeded team will advance to the semi-finals. Pal-Mac (#4) played the closest game of the day, beating Gananda (#5) 14-11. Pittsford won a 7-3 game with Schroeder, but the other ten games were mismatches. The winners won by at least six goals and outscored their opponents 150-31.
Next up are the semi finals which will be played on Friday at three sites. The Class A games will be held at Eastridge. The 5:00 game will see Fairport (#1) vs Penfield (#4). The second game (7:00 pm) will see Thomas (#2) vs Pittsford (#3).
The Class B games will be played at Webster Schroeder High School. The 5:00 game will have Irondequoit (#2) playing Victor (#3). The 7:00 game have Canandaigua (#1) playing Churchville-Chili (#4). [ Irondequoit is playing first so that players may attend their senior prom. ]
The Class C games will be played at Waterloo. Up first will be Geneva (#1) playing Pal-Mac (#4) at 5:00. Then Penn Yan (#2) will play Aquinas (#3).
The winners will play on Championship Day, Tuesday, May 28th at St. John Fisher College. See the brackets here.
