Under Armour Taps Nine from Section Five

 The roster for the UpState New York team in the Under Armour Underclass Lacrosse Tournament has been announced and of the twenty-four players selected, seven are form Section Five. A well known tournament, teams from Baltimore, Long Island, Midwest, New England, New Jersey, Philadelphia, South, Washington DC and Upstate New York will play in July (5th-7th) at Towson University (Maryland). Over the three days, teams will play in the ten-team pool play and will finish with a championship game on Sunday.

Selected from Section Five were Brandon Barker (Pittsford - 2015), Sam Byassee (Victor - 2015), Trevor Hodgins (Churchville-Chili - 2014), Willie Klan (Schroeder - 2015), Nick Panara (Pittsford - 2014), Ben Reeves (Pal-Mac - 2014) and Brian Wall (Penfield - 2014). The team will be coached by Silver Creek Head Coach Bill Brennan.

Rising sophomores Jamie Trimboli and Cameron Gebhardt have been selected to play in the Under Armour All America 2016 Boys Uncommitted Game which will be played as part of the same weekend at Towson. Jamie is a midfielder on the Greece Thunder (Ath/Ody) team and Cameron is an attackman for Fairport.

Rising Fairport junior defenseman, Allen Thibodeau was selected to play in the Under Armour All America 2015 Boys Uncommitted Game on July 6th as part of the big weekend. Geneva's Eddie Eddington was selected to play in the rising senior game.
