Hudson Valley vs NYC in Empire Cup Games Finals

The finals have now been set up with Hudson Valley playing New York City for the gold medal at 12:30 and Western playing Long Island for the bronze at 11:00. Sunday will start at 9:30 with Central playing Adirondack for fifth place.

Hudson Valley beat Long Island 10-4 and Central 9-6 to remain undefeated (5-0) while New York City beat Western 10-4. Hudson Valley and NYC met earlier in the week and Hudson Valley winning 6-5.

Western enters the final day at 2-3. They will play a rematch with Long Island on Sunday. In their first meeting Western lost 10-8 (on Thursday).

John Januszkiewicz (Orchard Park) continues to lead the scoring list with 16g. He is tied for first in assists with 8a.
