SUNY Cortland's Mike Tota Breaks Record

Mike Tota On last Wednesday afternoon, former Webster Schroeder player, Mike Tota scored three goals for the Red Dragons to break SUNY Cortland's all-time career goals record with 165.

Tota broke the record previously set by Kyle Lambert who played for the Red Dragons from 2003-2006. Tota, a senior and captain of the team has 38g-23a (98pts) this year.

While at Schroeder, Tota made the Class A All Tournament Team as a sophomore and was named to all league teams throughout his varsity career.

Tota is not the only player from Section Five playing for Cortland. Others on the current roster include Cody Consul (Schroeder), Scott Tota (Schroeder), Greg Wright (Irondequoit), Mike Warner (Geneva), Nick Wolak (Brighton) and Sean Davern (Irondequoit).

Cortland received a bye into the second round of the NCAA D-III tournament and will play at home on May 12th.
