- Waterloo ended their league season fourth in Division I with a 1-7 record (6-12 overall). They were seeded ninth and finished as seed with a first Waterloo 2009round loss to Batavia. Waterloo is going to feel the loss of their six graduated seniors. Even though they are returning seventy-eight percent of their roster, including thirteen seniors, the Indians lost three of their leading offensive athletes in Peter Vacca, Jeff Wadhams and Rob Goodenow. Additionally, the loss of Andy Teneyck in the defense will hurt the Indians. Teneyck is the only athlete from Waterloo to continue playing lacrosse in college this season at FLCC.

In the offense, Waterloo will need to look to new blood to bring about scoring. They will look to midfielders Chance Lowry and Dylan Chilson to lead the offense. Lowry returns with First Team All League honors and Chilson returns with an All League Honorable Mention. Lowry and Chilson will produce a strong midfield unit for the Indians. Waterloo will need to fill in some holes in the attack if they want to succeed this season.

Defensively, Joe Vacca will return after receiving an Honorable Mention in Finger Lakes Division I. Senior goalie Zach Ramirez also returns for his third season between the pipes for the Indians. He has 347 saves so far in his career and will look to improve upon those numbers during his senior year.

Coach Tyrone Thomas looks at a weaker league schedule this year with the loss of Canandaigua and Penn Yan from the league. With the new league orientation, The Indians hope to improve upon their 2009 record. With the lower number of maximum games this season and eight teams already in the Finger Lakes division, Coach Thomas only was allowed to schedule two out of league games, both of which will be played against Livonia.
