Blake Balcaen To Go To Pace University

January 19, 2015 - Webster Schroeder senior, Blake Balcaen, recently announced his decision to study and play lacrosse at Pace University.

Blake has been a starter since his sophomore year at either attack or midfield and received honorable mention the past two years from Monroe County Division I coaches. He will start his final campaign with the Warriors with 26g-26a.

Before committing to Pace he considered Seton Hill, RIT, Limestone, Mt Olive and Assumption.

In the off season he played for FCA Northeast Elite (three years) and recently made the All Star Team at the FLG in 3D tournament in Maryland.

Pace University is an NCAA Division II team playing in the Northeast 10 conference. The Head Coach is Tom Mariano, a Nazareth graduate, and Assistant Coach for the Ohio Machine of MLL.
