Geneva Over Henninger, CNS Wins

March 28, 2007 -   Geneva defeated Henninger (Section 3) tonight with a score of 11-5. The Panthers out shot the Black Knights 37 to 21.
  
Four seniors and four juniors scored for the Panthers. The senior class was led by midfielders John Warner (2g-2a) and RJ Gringeri (1g-1a), attackman Greg Bonney (3g) and goalie Matt Schutz (1a). The junior class was led by attackman Kyle Boncaro (2g-3a), midfielders Jim Warner (2g) and Willie Rago (1g), and defenseman Any Torrella (1a). Schutz recorded 10s/5ga (66%) in the cage for the Panthers.
  
Scoring for Henninger were Tim Rommel (3g), Sam Sickes (1g-1a), Mike Sickes (1g) and Kenny Wilson (1a). Joe Carni recorded 18s/11ga (62%) for Henninger.
  
 According to the Syaracuse papers, this morining, Cicero North Syracuse was a 16-6 winner over MacQauid in a game plays at CNS at 7:00 pm last night.
  
After taking a 4-1 lead in the first quarter the Northstars took a 9-3 lead into the halftime break.
  
Scoring for McQuaid Jesuit were junior attackmen JD Ayer (2g-1a), Bill Napoli (1g-1a) and
Mitch Ritchie (1g) along with senior midfielders Evan Gallena (1g) and Dan Sturnick (1g). Jjunior goalie Caufield added an assist while recording 10s/16ga (39%).
  
Scoring for CNS were Nick Blumer (2g), Matt DiDone (1g), Jeff Gilbert (2g-5a), James Haney (4g-2a), Nick Lococo (5a), Adam Neider (1g-1a), Josh Oliver (1g) and Mike Sciarrino (5g). Devin Heldt made 10s/6ga (63%).
