2006 League Awards

- The Monroe County All League lists and awards were released today. Named to the All America Team were senior midfielders Kelly McKenna from Penfield, Ryan Lowe from Fairport and Mickey Haight from Irondequoit. Senior midfielder, Mike Arvan from Penfield was selected by the Monroe County coaches as the 2006 USLacrosse Academic All American.

Selected to the Monroe County Division One First Team list were Mike Danylyshyn, Pat Reilly, Derek Pino, Connor Rice, Grant Catalino, Ryan Lowe, Kelly McKenna, Mike Arvan, Tony Henriquez, Jay Willmes, Mickey Haight, John Pawluk, Brent Jacobs, Drew Palmer, Paul VanThof and Brian Dell. The GRALL Player of the Year is senior defenseman Alex Caton from McQuaid Jesuit. The All Americans from Finger Lakes are Penn Yan midfielders Steven Carlson and Dan Mesler.
  
Academic All American include Penn Yan's Dan McGuffie and Livonia's Scott Mosher.
  
From Finger Lakes, the first team players are: Dan McGuffie,
Winston Boyd, Connor Henderson and John Manion in attack, Dan Mesler, Steven Carlson, AJ Groot, Josh Mateo and Bill Jolly in midfield, Josh Lewis, Michael Manley, Tristen Keas, Ben Knapton, Dana Wilber, Dan Toner and Eric Davids in defense and RJ Wickham in the goal. The GRALL Super sixteen players are: David Schmantz, Brian Sciera, Brad Fuerst, Marty Farchione and Mark Hanna in attack, Mark Pincelli, Pat King, Scott Mosher, Adam Schaible and Evan Gallina in midfield, Carroll Kenedy, Joe Edd, Andy Kurtz, Alex Caton and Mitch Bailey in defense and Pat Maguire in the goal.
