Former Corning East Player to Direct Camp at Keuka
March 11, 2004 - Former Corning East and Johns Hopkins star, Todd Cavallaro, who is currently an Assistant Coach at the University of Pennsylvania will direct the latest edition of the All Star Lacrosse Camps at Keuka College from August 1st to 4th, 2004.
The premier camps hire well known national coaches who stress fundamentals, team concepts and sportsmanship during the four day clinic. Camps are also offered in other parts of the country but this will be the first year at Keuka.
Cavallaro was inducted into the Corning-Painted Post Hall of Fame in 1997 and still ranks at 27th in the NYS career goals list (195).
At Johns Hopkins, he was team co-captain and received the Blue Jays’ 1994 Turnball Reynolds Award (presented to the player who exemplifies team play, sportsmanship and leadership) and Sydney G. Erlanger Awards (presented to the outstanding senior).
In 1990 he received the Shawn P. Corcoran Award, given to the player who exemplifies perseverance, cooperation, loyalty, courage and athletic prowess.
In 1994 he was graduated from Johns Hopkins and started his coaching career which has included assignments at Washington College, Hopkins and Pennsylvania.
