Tanner Hay and Chayse Ierlan To Under Armour Game

- Under Armour recently announced their rosters for the 13th Annual All-American game in July. Named to the "South team" were defenseman Tanner Hay and goalie Chayse Ierlan, both from Victor.

Tanner HayTanner Hay is a first team All County defenseman, who in three years recorded 11 points for the Blue Devils. He will be heading off to Albany in the fall. Chayse Ierlan is a two-time US Lacrosse All-American and SportsFive defensive Player of the Year. He will be off to Cornell in the fall.

Named to the "North team" was Irondequoit/Salisbury attackman John John Lombardi, who will also be heading off to Cornell next fall.

"The Top 44 senior boys and girls are selected by a committee made up of the nation’s most knowledgeable figures in high school lacrosse. Seniors in good academic standing are considered for participation." The game will be played at Johns Hopkins, on Homewood Field, on June 30th. 

Underclassmen can try out for the Under Armour Underclassmen games which will be held from June 28th to July 1st. Players tryout at regional locations in order to make one of the 22 spots on each team. 

Chayse IerlanMaking the "Upstate Command" team were: Logan Callahan (Victor F/O), Cal Lambert (Victor Midfield), Patrick Mitchell (Churchville-Chili A/M), Quinn Nolan (Pal-Mac F/O), and Jack Wallace (Pittsford Defense).

Making the "Upstate Highlight" team were: Sutton Boland (Victor defense), Jack Brennan (Irondequoit Attack), Shawn Doran (Hilton F/O), Regan Endres (Victor F/O), Camden Hay (Victor Attack), Casey McDermott (Brighton Attack), Sam Miller (Geneva Midfield), Joey Pezzimenti (Victor Attack) and Travis Wagner (Penfield Goalie).

Players on uncommitted teams were: Joe Camp (Wayne LSM), Nick Herbst (Canandaigua Defense), Lou Germain (Victor Defense) and Thomas Wolford (Thomas Defense).
