Fingar Leads Gates Chili to Victory

- Gates Chili scored the first goal of the game and although Brockport forced the tie once, the Spartans never trailed.  Gates Chili scored three goals to lead off the game in the first seven minutes.  Blake Palozzi scored the game opened unassisted.  Kyle Fingar scored the next two (the first assisted by Kyle Krystan).  The Blue Devils responded with Ashton Howlett scoring unassisted to finish the first quarter at 3-1 Gates Chili.

In the second quarter, the Spartans scored the opening goal 4 minutes into play.  Brockport responded with three unanswered goals to force the tie at 4-4.  Tyler Sutphen scored two of the three goals.  Gates scored the final goal of the third quarter and opening goal of the fourth to pull back ahead by two goals.  The Spartans put on the stall and held off a single late goal from the Blue Devils.  The final Brockport goal was scored by Adam Tobey (1g-1a) and assisted by Sutphen (2g-1a).  In the cage for Gates Chili, Samuel Servati finished at 67% (10s/5ga).
