Bollin and Jakobsze Set for RIT
October 8, 2017 - Friends and teammates, Erik Jakobsze and Conor Bollin play for Webster Schroeder and the Harvest Lacrosse Club and will continue as teammates when they move on together to RIT next fall.
Erik is a defenseman/Long Stick Middie earned first team All-League honors last year (MC-D1). Not afraid to take the ball down-field, he picked up six assists and picked up forty-five ground balls and recorded twenty-four take-aways as a junior.
Conor is an attackman who scored twenty-four goals and twenty-three assists last season and will start his last year with a career total of 69g-36a. He received second team attack honors (MC-D1) last year.
Both players play with the Harvest Lacrosse Club in the off-season.
RIT had an exciting season last year as the Tigers saw nineteen wins and advanced to the NCAA Division III Championship games for the second time in four years. Last year the RIT roster listed nine Section Five alumni including Sophomore Matt Streit who was also a graduate of Schroeder.
