Players of the Week - Group 3

- Player of the Week

In the third week of honoring players, we honor two Section Five players.

Zach Estabrooks Offensive Player of the Week
Zach Estabrooks

Senior attackman Zach Estabrooks had a big week with significant play in the Pittsford game where he scored four out of the six goals for the win. He then had  3g-1a in the win against Fayetteville-Manlius. Committed to Seton Hill, Zach has 20g-4a thus far this year on the balanced Blue Devil offense.

Head Coach Jim Andre thinks highly of his attackman. "Zack has done very nice job attacking the goal from behind as well as dodging up top. He is player that has the strength to drive to the cage, and the ability to protect his stick as the defense closes in on him."

Jake Santini Defensive Player of the Week
Jake Santini

Fairport advanced their record to 7-2 last week with three very important games and a big part of those wins were the result of the goaltending efforts of Jake Santini. In the Irondequoit win he made four saves (57%), in the Canandaigua victory he posted fourteen saves (70%) and the in Orchard Park win he turned in an 89% save percentage on sixteen saves. Jake has a season average of 62% with 88 saves in 412 minutes in the cage for the Red Raiders.

Head Coach Mike Torrelli says, "He will be attending Le Moyne College next Fall. Jake has been a great leader for us this year. He is a very hard worker and very dedicated and has been a great teammate. He 'Loves his Team'."
