Canandaigua Takes OP

- [UPDATED] Canandaigua continued its undefeated season with an 11-7 victory over Orchard Park in a non-league matchup on Saturday. The teams traded goals early, but Canandaigua pulled ahead with a five-goal run in the third quarter. Senior attackman Patrick Olvany led the offense with four goals, while midfielder Ryan Bremer added three goals and one assist. Jack Stanney and Drew Williamee each contributed one goal and one assist, and Mike Belles recorded one goal and two assists. Goalie Evan Scibelli finished with eight saves and a 53% save rate.

Orchard Park kept the game close early, responding quickly in the first quarter, but couldn't keep pace with Canandaigua’s third-quarter surge. The team recorded seven goals, with contributions from multiple players. Owen Wright led the way for Orchard Park with two goals and one assist, while Luke Danna added one goal and two assists. Justin Relosky netted two goals, Jherek Breske contributed one goal and one assist, and Dylan Buchheit added a goal of his own. Joe Campion also recorded an assist to round out Orchard Park’s scoring efforts. Despite strong performances, Orchard Park was unable to close the gap in the final minutes.
