Monday - Mismatches Everywhere

May 16, 2022 - DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY - All five games were mismatches today as Pal-Mac finished their regular season at 13-1.

AQUINAS 10  - SPENCERPORT 18 - Spencerport scored all eighteen goals in the first three quarters as ten players made the offensive book. Anthony Rodriguez had 3g-4a, Austin Mandarano had 3g-4a, and Cam Mesh had 4g and won 11 of 14 faceoffs for the Rangers (9-5) who will finish their regular season playing Rush-Henrietta on Tuesday. Angelo Palumbo had 3g-1a, and Myles Blackwood added 2g-2a for AQ.     [BOX SCORE] 

WATERLOO 7  - GANANDA 16 - The first quarter was close but then the Blue Panthers took control. Drew Smith led the scoring with 6g-1a and Brayden Dohse scored 3g-2a while Brock Chasey and Jacob Michaels each had 2g2a. Giorgio Catanzaro made 13s (65%) for Gananda who will play three more games this week. Waterloo saw 4g-1a from Scott Verdehem. The Blue Devils will end their regular season playing Midlakes-Red Jacket on Tuesday.     [BOX SCORE] 

PAL-MAC 20  - MYNDERSE 0 - Sophomore goalie Peyton Lich earned an unusual shutout with 4s and Quinn Nolan (3g-3a) helped keep the ball in the offense with 17 or 18 draws. Damian Knaak scored 4g-2a and Mike Halsey had 1g-4a for the Red Raiders who finish their regular season at 13-1 and will have to wait until the weekend to see the seeding for the Class C Tournament. HAVERLING 19  - BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 0 - Nine players made the offensive book led by Jamie O`Neil with 8g-1a, Brody Baldwin with 3g-1a and Brady Dickson with 4a. Haverling will finished their season on Thursday with Bishop Kearney. The Blue Devils have two more games this week.     [BOX SCORE] 

GENEVA 13  - NEWARK 2 - Curtis Denison led the scoring with 4g-2a while Max Miller had 4g-1a and Daniel Wright had 2g-3a for Geneva. Garrett Kayser made 3s (100%) and Paul Williams had 2s (50%) for the Panthers. Sam Underhill (1g) and Preston Steve (2g-1a) scored for the Reds and Caleb Cady-George had 15s (54%).     [BOX SCORE]
