Saturday - Lakers Celebrate 20 Years with Win

- DAY IN REVIEW: SATURDAY - Batavia-Notre Dame celebrated Senior Day with their first win since 2017. Hilton scored in the last two minutes of the game with Schroeder. Brighton won their game with HF-L and the Pride had a 9-8 win over Midlakes-Red Jacket.

LANCASTER 10  - RUSH-HENRIETTA 23 -The Royal Comets had a 16-5 lead at the half. Mike Valent (4g-4a) won 27 or 28 faceoffs and Connor Newberry with 7s (58%) and Daniel Schmitz with 6s *55%) split time in the goal. At the other end of the field Chase Petschke had 3g-5a, Makai Hillmon had 3g-2a and Jack Nothnagle added 3g for R-H (7-7).     [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLGANANDA 15  - MEDINA 13 -In a close game with three ties, Drew Smith (5g-1a) broke the last tie with 1:29 on the clock nd Jase Smith (2g) added an insurance goal at 0:47 to secure the Blue Panther win at home. Jacob Michaels ended the game with 3g-3a and Brock Chasey had 4g-1a. Giorgio Catazaro made 16s (55%) for Gananda. State for Media were unavailable.    [BOX SCORE] 

LIVONIA-AVON 18  - GREECE STORM 5 - The Lakers celebrated twenty years of lacrosse at a halftime ceremony and the fun continued as they defeated the Storm. Jackson McEnerney scored 6g-5a, Derrick Wigley had 2g-3a and Shame Malead added 4g while Matthew Connor won 19 for 21 faceoffs. Greece saw 3g-1a from Andrew Hill.     [BOX SCORE] 

FAYETTEVILLE-MANLIUS 9  - VICTOR 14 - The Blue Devils continued their undefeated season (15-0) with a win on the road in Syracuse. Victor held a 10-4 lead at the half and goaltender Brady Robinson made 8s (67% in his 31 minutes in the cage. Ten players made the offensive book, led by Thomas Gravino with 2g-3a. Faceoff specialist Sam Ricci won 16 of 18 draws for the Blue Devils who will finish their regular season with a game with Thomas on Tuesday. Thomas Conley and Joe Hathorn each had 3g for the Hornets.     [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLST. JOSEPH 8  - McQUAID JESUIT 13 -The Black Knights scored five unanswered goals in the first quarter and cruised to victory in Buffalo. Will Gordon made 22s (73%) while in the offense John Harding scored 3g-2a and Paul Chiariello had 4g-1a. McQuaid Jesuit is 10-4.    [BOX SCORE] 

NEWARK 14  - BROCKPORT 3 - Preston Steve scored 6g-2a and Tyler Deline added 4g-1a for the Reds. Senior goalie Caleb George-Cady made 14s (82%) and added a coast-to-coast goal (his second of the season). Javier Benzan had 1g-1a for Brockport.   [BOX SCORE] 

BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE 9  - MIDLAKES-RED JACKET 8 - In a close game the Eagles scored four goals after the half to tie the teams at 5-5. The teams then took turns scoring and tied two more times including 8-8 with 5:00 left in the game. JD Allen (3g-1a) scored the winning goal with 0:07 left in the game. Cody Morse had 3g, Liam Roach had 1g-2a and Dante Pezzimenti had 3a for the Pride. There was no report from the Eagles at post time.     [BOX SCORE] 

CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 12  - WAYNE 4 - It took a half to get going, but the Saints scored six goals in the third quarter and took off from there with Dominic Hoch scoring 5g-1a, Colin Duncan scoring 3g-2a and Jaxon Leonard adding 3g-1a. In the goal Chris HerHaar made 11s (73%). Nate Michel led the Eagles with 1g-2a.     [BOX SCORE] 

Livonia at  HFLHAMBURG 4  - FAIRPORT 12 - It was 4-1 Fairport at the half, but then the Red Raiders outscored the Bulldogs 8-3 in the second half. McLean Ralston had 5s (56%) and Joey Giggie won 13 of 18 faceoffs, while Jackson Monte led the offense with 4g-1a.     [BOX SCORE] 

BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 12  - WATERLOO 3 - There was  a lot to celebrate on Senior Day at Batavia as the Blue Devils won their first game since May 5th, 2017 when they defeated Avon 6-5. Today's game was more demonstrative as Nicholas Grover scored 5g-2a and Noah Burke added 4g. Daniel Saeva won 9 of 14 faceoffs and picked up 6gbs and Jaxson Tucker had 19s (86%). Three different players each scored one goal for Waterloo.    [BOX SCORE] 

HILTON 8  - SCHROEDER 7 -It was a close and very physical game at Hilton, where Schroeder fought back from a 5-1 deficit at the half with four unaswered goals in the third to tie at 5-5. The Cadets then scored two in a row, and then The Warriors scored two in a row. With 1:41 left in regulation Joeseph Maneti (2G) scored the game winner with an assist from Colton Thorp (1a). Six Cadets each scored one goal in the game. Nick Hauman had 3a while Nate Schilling and Colton Ugine both had 2g-1a for the Warriors who will end their regular season playing against Penfield on Tuesday.    [BOX SCORE]        - - More images in the photo gallery

MARCUS WHITMAN 12  - SETON CATHOLIC 3 -Blake Dunton recorded 8s (73%) while Kyle Murphy scored 4g, Connor Gorton had 1g-3a and Brody Royston had 4a for the wildcats.  Statistics for Seton Catholic were unavailable.     [BOX SCORE]

BRIGHTON 5  - HF-L 4 -There were three ties in the low-scoring game at Brighton. TJ Carl had 3g and Liam McGuire had 2g for the Bruins. Brighton goalie Thomas D`Angelo posted 9s (69%). Four different players scored for the Cougars. Drew Angelo won all 14 of his faceoffs and Trevor Reese had 9s (64%) for HF-L.    [BOX SCORE]
