Thursday - Haverling over AQ - Penn Yan over Geneva

- DAY IN REVIEW: THURSDAY - Penn Yan beat Geneva 8-6 and Comsewogue (Sect XI) defeated Penfield 8-6, but the rest of the games today were mismatches.

Haverling at AquinasAQUINAS 13 - HAVERLING 14 - In a close game that saw four ties, the Rams scored six unanswered goals in the third and fourth quarters to come from down 12-7 to up 13-12. With 5:26 left in the game Noah Olbrich scored with an assist from Angelo Palumbo to tie the game at 13-13 and then with just under three minutes left, Ezra Hoad (3g-2a) scored the game winner for Haverling (4-3). Figuring in on ten of the fourteen goals was Haverling attackman Jamie O`Neil who ended the game with 4g-6a.Brody Baldwin added 3g-1a. BATAVIA-NOTRE DAME 4 - WILSON 18 -  Senior M/A Luke Geiger (2g) scored his first Varsity goal for the Blue Devils. Also scoring 2g was Noah Burke. The book for Wilson was not available.   [BOX SCORE]  

THOMAS 12 - IRONDEQUOIT 6 - The Titans took a 5-2 halftime lead and finish with the win at home. Owen Dalberth recorded 10s (63%) and Evan Pashalidis (3g-2a) led the list of eight players who made the offensive book. There was no report from Irondequoit at post time.     [BOX SCORE]  

Haverling at AquinasWAYNE 16 - BLOOMFIELD-HONEOYE 2 - The Eagles scored twelve unanswered goals in the first half in the Finger Lakes win over the visiting Pride. Eleven different players made the offensive book with Alex Garrow, Noah Means, and Louis Profetta each scored 2g-1a and Nate Michel led the list with 2g-2a.     [BOX SCORE]  

MARCUS WHITMAN 14 - MYNDERSE 4 - Connor Tomion led the Wildcats with 3g-2a and Reiner Gallogly won 12 of 20 draws. Blake Dunton recorded 9s (69%) for Marcus Whitman (4-2). Griffin Hilimire had 1g-1a for the Blue Devils who will play Waterloo on Saturday.     [BOX SCORE]  

COMSEWOGUE 8 - PENFIELD 6 - Although the Pats scored the first two goals, Comsewogue (Section XI) took the lead with seven unanswered goals and despite a fourth quarter surge by Penfield took the out-of-section win. Elijah Utz led the Patriot offense with 2g-2a and Seamus Hand had 16s (67%) in the cage. Penfield will return home to play at Pittsford next week.     [BOX SCORE]  

Haverling at AquinasPENN YAN 8 - GENEVA 6 - It was a big win for the visiting Mustangs as they took a 6-4 lead into halftime and coasted to an 8-6 win over long-time rival Geneva. Junior midfielder Carter Earl led the offense with 4g and goalie Griffin Emerson had 12s (67%) for Penn Yan (2-2) who will play Fairport on Saturday. Geneva saw 2g-1a from junior attackman Ryan Brown while Jeremy Askin won 12 of 18 draws for the Panthers (3-3) who will play Pal-Mac next week.     [BOX SCORE]        - - More images in the photo gallery

JAMESVILLE-DeWITT 6 - VICTOR 16 - The Blue Devils took quick control, leading at the half 13-3 in the victory over Jamesville-DeWitt (Section III). Attackman Jack Herendeen had 3g-5a, midfielder Liam Wheeler had 3g-2a and Thomas Gravino scored 5g-1a for the Blue Devils who remain undefeated at 6-0. They will play Brother Rice on Saturday.  The book from JD was not available at post time.     [BOX SCORE]
