CANANDAIGUA 11 - THOMAS 8 - In what was an exciting "replay" of last year`s Class B championship game, the results were different as the Braves, this time took the win. The game was close throughout although Canandaigua possessed much of the ball time greatly due to the faceoff play of Luke McCrobie who won 16 of 23 at the "X". Thomas was aggressive on defense, often doubling the ball and forcing rushed play by the Braves. Senior midfielder Elliot Morgan led the CA offense with 4g-1a and Jaxon Grant added 3g-1a. Ethan Shappee led the Titans with 3g. Both teams are now 3-1 and like the Fairport Pittsford game last week, which was also a close repeat of the Class A championship game, it is clear that all four teams will be different by the time that this year`s tournaments take place. Canandaigua plays R-H on Thursday and Thomas plays Brighton, also on Thursday.  [BOX SCORE]    - - More images in the photo gallery
