Monday - The Saints in Overtime

- DAY IN REVIEW: MONDAY -It was an overtime win for Churchville-Chili in their game with HF-L tonight. The other three games were mismatches.

Geneva at SkanneatelesBISHOP KEARNEY 20 - UPREP 1 -Eight players from Bishop Kearney made the offensive book. Leading the list were junior A/M Jack Fialkoff with 6g-2a, sophomore attackman Michael Sandruck with 6g-4a and junior attackman Owen King with 2g-6a. HF-L 10 - CHURCHVILLE-CHILI 11 OT - The Cougars led in the second quarter and entered the halftime break up 6-5. They continued to lead until the last quarter when the Saints scored three unanswered goals to tie the game at 10-10 with 0:16 left in regulation. Senior midfielder Landon Smith scored both the tying goal and the game winner in overtime. Eighth grader Jaxon Leonard led scoring for the Saints with 4g-1a. Sophomore attackman Chase Perryman led the Cougar offense with 4g-3a. Sophomore face off specialist Drew Angelo won 22 of 25 draws (99%) and 15gbs. Goalie Trevor Reese made 13s (54%). HF-L (2-3) will play Irondequoit on Thursday. Churchville-Chili (3-2) will play East United-Eastridge on Thursday.  [BOX SCORE]

Geneva at SkanneatelesSKANEATELES 10 - GENEVA 6 -Geneva started out in the lead with four goals in the first quarter and entered the halftime break up 5-2. The second half belonged to the Lakers as they scored four goals in both the third and fourth quarters while holding the Panthers to a single goal. Lakers junior attackman Grayson Brunelle led his team`s scoring with 3g3a while junior midfielder added 3g-2a. Luke Renaud made 10s (63%) for Skaneateles of Section III (4-1). Curtis Denison and Daniel Wright both has 2g-1a and Garrett Kayser made 14s (58%) for the Panthers who will play Marcus Whitman on Tuesday.   [BOX SCORE]   - - More images in the photo gallery

McQUAID 3 - VICTOR 13 -Victor led from the beginning. Eight players made the list for the Blue Devils. Leading the pack were Sam Gotham (3g-3a), Jack Herendeen (1g-3a) and Pax Marshall (3g-1a). Sam Ricci won 16 of 20 faceoffs and Brady Robinson mad 8s (89%) in the Victor cage. Will Gordon recorded 13s (52%) for the Knights (3-1) who will play Chenango Forks on Wednesday.   [BOX SCORE]
